Data Analyst

Main responsibilities 


  • You will collect, check, and structure data.
  • You will design data processing algorithms that process obtained spectra into accurate material properties, such as elemental mass percentages.
  • You will create data models.
  • You will draw up reports and presentations.
  • You will provide advice on the information obtained, such as material sampling strategy, measurement strategy, or measurement setup improvements.
  • You will participate in project teams.



Requirements


  • You have a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
  • You have experience in collecting, processing, and analysing data, preferably in a high-tech environment.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You have a broad knowledge of Python, programming languages, and analysis methods, such as statistical analysis, least-squares regression and curve-fitting, and machine learning.
  • You have the ability to explain complex information in an understandable way.
  • You have theoretical and practical knowledge of data modelling and semantics.
