Software Engineer

Main responsibilities 


  • You will review the requirements and designs of several subsystems and check compliance with the chosen architecture and facility interfaces and standards
  • You will design, code, and test software for several systems and subsystems, from software algorithms to user interfaces
  • You will troubleshoot and find the solution for selected subsystems and test setups in case of failure
  • You will take care of the documentation during this development process

 


Requirements


For this role, it's necessary that you:

  • Have 0-5 years of experience with software development, using Python and C++
  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Physics or similar
  • Know how to solve things in hardware and software, and how to make sure they collaborate
  • Are eager to learn about microtechnology and technical cleanliness
  • Are fluent in English
  • Are independent, proactive, and structured
  • Show ownership and responsibility
  • Enjoy a scale-up environment
  • Can work in the Netherlands

And it's an advantage if:

  • You have experience in the semiconductor or display industry, especially in contamination control
  • You have experience in industrial metrology or analytical instruments; in the lab and in manufacturing
  • You have experience in the field of mechatronic systems
  • You have experience with UX design
  • You have a solid knowledge of complex data processing algorithms, real-time software, and operating systems
  • You have experience with CI/CD and Configuration Management processes
  • You have experience in delivering software to customers
  • You are familiar with scrum/sprints, V-model, and waterfall ways of working
  • You have an analytical mindset but also enjoy the hands-on work
  • You are interested in image processing, and/or machine vision
