Software Engineer - Robot Testing 

Main responsibilities 

  • Collaborating with colleagues to validate various functionalities of the robotic systems using different test methods, including risk-based testing, integration testing, and detailed testing.
  • Writing automated test scenarios in Cucumber/Gherkin format and implementing them effectively.
  • Building and maintaining the test automation pipeline and infrastructure.
  • Analysing test data and gathering feedback from and for engineers.
  • Communicating test results to the team and providing well-supported recommendations.
  • Engaging in the development of new features for the products and their associated software applications.

Requirements

  • HBO/WO level of thinking.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a developer or test (automation) engineer, particularly in embedded software.
  • Experience in developing and executing tests, from the realization phase to the chain and acceptance phase.
  • Familiarity with agile working practices in scrum teams.
  • Experience with behaviour-driven testing and test automation tools, such as Behave and Gherkin.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++, with a preference for Python.
  • Experience with Bash, Linux, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • TMAP/ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is an advantage.
