High Tech Researcher

We are currently looking for a High Tech Researcher located in Delft together with our client in the horticultural industry.
We are looking for a High Tech Researcher with a passion for designing calculation models for greenhouses.
Our client works together with construction companies that will provide you projects located worldwide. The models that you will design must be resistant to weather and wind, with a millimetre range of precision in mind. Together with your international team, you will also help with the development of the GPS toolbox, which collects data for calculating design loads according to international standards and historical measurement data. Wind, snow and seismic activity are the most important load factors that you take into account. Moreover, you will advise our client and their customer regarding the all matters of the research, the lab, and the innovation of the designs. You will have the opportunity to publish your findings together with your colleagues in reports and / or academic articles.
- University degree, preferably in the field of Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience with modelling, programming and calculating structures;
- Experience with preparing and / or implementing innovative projects within horticultural sector;
- Astute, curious and a go-getter attitude to work;
- Business level English and Dutch.
