About this job
We are currently looking for a DevOps & Customer Operations Engineer to join the team in Delft.
As a DevOps & Customer Operations Engineer, you will be part of the quantum networking device engineering team, being responsible for the operations behind the development pipeline (DevOps) and the release and deployment procedure (customer operations) of new products and new software versions.
You will work closely with the software, firmware, and digital design development team, helping refine development, release processes, and overall workflows.

Main responsibilities
- You will think about deploying product updates and identify and troubleshoot production issues
- You will help with the IT infrastructure and system testing
- You will help customers use our systems
- You will build and implement new development tools and infrastructure
- You will work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- You work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- You will deploy updates and fixes, and provide technical support
Requirements
- You have experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- You have a degree in Computer Science, engineering or similar
- You are proficient in Git and GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines and development and IT infrastructure
- You have experience with product and software deployments, as well as with deployment of software fixes
- You have experience with some of the core technologies used: Docker, Linux and Linux administration, BitBucket, Jira
- You can work in the EU
- Experience and knowledge of computer hardware is an advantage
- Experience with networking and network devices is a plus
- Familiarity with quantum is not required, but you would like to learn about advancing quantum and networking technologies
- You are independent and pro-active; a hands-on person
- You feel comfortable with start-up environment
- You are a team player
