We are currently looking for a Noise Control Expert to join the team in The Hague.
As a Noise Control Expert, you understand how a noise source can affect the environment, and you will look for new ways to reduce it.

Noise Control Expert
Main responsibilities
- You will participate in the development of models, simulations and tools for the prognosis and reduction of noise
- You will demonstrate that the solutions you created work in the lab and in practical situations
- You will be able to work on different topics and projects with other departments
- You will translate and implement the complex physics that underlies the sound transmission and noise control measures in models and simulations
- To build these models and simulations, you will use MATLAB and Python, among others
- You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- You have a Degree in Applied Science Education, like Physics or Mechanical Engineering
- You have an understanding of the physics that underlies the sound transmission and noise control measures
- You have experience with noise control
- You have experience advising customers
- You speak Dutch and English fluently
- Knowledge of environmental legislation is a plus
- Software skills in Python and MATLAB are an advantage
- Affinity for Defence projects
