 Noise Control Expert

Main responsibilities 


  • You will participate in the development of models, simulations and tools for the prognosis and reduction of noise
  • You will demonstrate that the solutions you created work in the lab and in practical situations
  • You will be able to work on different topics and projects with other departments
  • You will translate and implement the complex physics that underlies the sound transmission and noise control measures in models and simulations
  • To build these models and simulations, you will use MATLAB and Python, among others
  • You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders

 


Requirements


  • You have a Degree in Applied Science Education, like Physics or Mechanical Engineering
  • You have an understanding of the physics that underlies the sound transmission and noise control measures
  • You have experience with noise control
  • You have experience advising customers
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation is a plus
  • Software skills in Python and MATLAB are an advantage
  • Affinity for Defence projects
