About this job
We are currently looking for a Scientific Software Engineer to join the team in Delft.
The High-Tech Consulting team consists of a growing group of people, divided between Delft and Oslo, who work with varying companies on solutions to scientific coding problems. The team has worked on projects such as CO2M and Space Weather with KNMI, SPEXone with SRON and FORUM with HULD, as well as an instrument simulator for an ESA satellite so that all the data processing software can be tested thoroughly before the satellite is launched and also ESA mission EarthCARE. Outside of Space, you may also find projects in other fields such as Quantum technology, in which our colleagues interact with a quantum processor node, that will be used to demonstrate and test the feasibility of a larger quantum network connected across countries. These projects are often partially in Delft and partially on-site at the partners and allow you to come into contact with the scientific aspects of the projects while also focussing on your programming skills. Furthermore, you can make important connections and learn from professionals in different research areas.
