We are currently looking for a Software Engineer C++ to join the team in the Leiden Area.
By joining this team, you will have the opportunity to work with system integration and automation systems in the maritime sector, exploring and innovating diverse product portfolios and developing IPMS (Integrated Platform Management System) for large industrial projects.

Main responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you are the specialist in which concerns to software and, alongside the team, contribute to the development of new software architecture, working accordingly with the Agile methodology promoting a professional CI/CD setup.
You are someone who truly enjoys working on complex projects and sharing your knowledge with your team members, and for that, you consider potential improvements and implement them, ensuring that the software deliveries are done with the utmost quality.
Requirements
- Completed HBO or WO in a technical relevant field
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar/relevant position
- Strong knowledge and work experience in C++
- Experience with version control, with a preference for Git and Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of containerization and experience with Linux is a plus
- Knowledge of hardware components, industrial communication protocols, and network architectures
- Expertise in building automation tools, such as CMake
- Experience working with business-critical software systems is a plus
- Fluency, both written and spoken, in English and fluency in Dutch is a plus
