Software Test Engineer

Main responsibilities 

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with strong expertise in software development and extensive experience in defining, implementing, and executing tests for integrated software applications. This includes tasks such as verification testing of requirements, integration tests, processor load tests, regression tests, user tests, and endurance tests. Initially, the tests will primarily be defined and executed on a testbed currently under development. Enhancing this test environment, such as creating necessary testing tools, will also be part of the role.


Requirements

  • Working with integrated test environments
  • Writing requirements and corresponding tests
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python
  • Development experience for both Windows and Linux platforms
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Result-driven and customer-oriented approach
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment and adapting quickly to changes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver clear reporting
  • A collaborative team player
  • Proficiency in English is required, Dutch language skills are an advantage
