About this job
We are currently looking for a Team Lead Software Testing to join the team in the Rotterdam Area.
As a Team Lead for Software Testing, you will be working within the Integrated Testing & Verification Competence Center. This role focuses on collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to develop and execute tests that ensure product quality. The team is responsible for software test and verification processes, including integration within robotic systems. The position provides the opportunity to influence product release processes and foster a culture of quality and accountability.

Main responsibilities
- Lead a team of 7 to 14 software testers, guiding them in their testing and verification efforts.
- Set the strategy for system verification and provide advice on the maturity of designs at various testing stages.
- Act as a role model by actively participating in testing activities and emphasizing the importance of testable requirements and data-driven conclusions.
- Oversee the development process, bridging gaps between disciplines and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Support the technical and personal
development of team members, fostering an environment of growth and
learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or extensive work experience equivalent to these qualifications.
- Several years of experience in software testing and a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Broad technical knowledge with a strong interest in robotics.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present arguments convincingly.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is an advantage.
